I hired GreenPlace to build block walls on both sides of my property, and the crew was responsive, always on time, and their craftsmanship is top notch. The job ran about a week longer than we expected because they had to dig out a surprising number of old fence posts and some thick tree roots, but they kept things moving and communicated along the way. Overall, the quality of the work made it worth it, and I’d hire them again.

Greenplace is wonderful. Volodymyr and Viktor know the technical side of their business (which plants thrive in which locations, sun, exposure, etc., how to set up the right drip watering systems, etc.), but that is to be expected. What is special is working with them. They listen to what is requested, come up with ideas, share them, and then modify them with the customer's feedback. They are friendly and engaging. They gave us a schedule to install our landscaping, and kept to it. And their prices are reasonable. We highly recommend them.

Guys did an amazing job transforming my front yard from a clay pit to a work of art for a very reasonable price. They took care of landscaping and lighting, worked with me to pick the plants and decorative rocks that would satisfy my HOA's requirements. I initially contacted Greenplace to install new irrigation lines at my LA home and to do some weed/ivy removal on a steep hillside so this could be planted with California natives. The ivy had been removed by someone else in January, but because they didn't put in weed barrier, the ivy / weeds were coming up fast following the rains. That, plus a drainage hole in the uphill neighbor's retaining wall, caused a lot of problems on our hill, including water in our crawlspace.
My plan was to first have the weeds and ivy removed, then have irrigation lines installed so that we could then plant the hillside to prevent further erosion. Frankly, given how most contractors and "contractors" work, I was dreading the whole process. Most are unreliable, don't show up when they're supposed to, disappear for weeks, over charge, work for 4 hours a day, and leave a bigger problem than they fixed.
Volodomyr got in touch with me quickly, came out with his team to review the project within a day or two, and gave me a bid which was VERY reasonable. They came out the next day or so, and worked over 8 hours a day to knock out the work which was part of the initial proposal in a matter of days. They were prompt, polite, pleasant, and very respectful - an absolute joy to work with. They recommended weed barrier on the steep hillside, and I agreed immediately - it was a great recommendation and much needed.
They did such good work, so quickly, and at a reasonable price, that I asked whether they could work on the drainage issue created by the removal of the ivy and the installation of the patio. In short, the last "contractor" had removed a portion of the walkway in back, creating a low area right by the house. Water from the neighbor's wall came over the newly denuded hillside right to that low area, and into the crawlspace. They understood and sized up the problem in that area and one other very quickly.
This is how fast they work - we discussed it late last week, agreed on Monday, and by Monday evening they're already significantly through the project! They don't leave a mess, they're helpful, polite, and they do the work. AND, they are LICENSED. This is my third house in LA and I can tell you, their prices, reliability and speed cannot be beat.

We have had Greenplace maintaining our yard, shrubs, and other planting for over a year now and have been very happy with their work and their diligence in getting things done. Roman, in particular, is very hard working and takes the time to detail our yard nicely each week.
We have ½ acre of grass, shrubs and other plantings, lots of roses, 20 large pots of orchids, and two of amaryllis as well as numerous other blooming flowers. He manages to take care of most everything very nicely in about 2.5 hours per week…sometimes a bit longer. It has been nice to work with folks who will go beyond the mow and blow of the normal lawn service and work with you, if you ask, to do additional work. We also like the fact that they can provide other landscaping and design services when needed.

We used Greenplace for our client’s renovated office, to weed the overgrown landscaping after the landscaper we hired never put in a weed barrier 🙄 They cleaned it all up and added the weed barrier, as well as moved debris from the parking lot and trimmed the hedge/tree. They done an awesome job from the free estimation till the work done. The response time is quick, clear. The price is reasonable and all the material price were listed beforehand, which makes it easier to estimate the total cost.
